The Ferrari 288 GTO is a high-performance sports car produced by Ferrari between 1984 and 1987. It was built as a homologation special to qualify for the Group B racing class, however, Group B was canceled before the 288 GTO could compete. Subsequently, all 272 units produced were sold to the public.

The 288 GTO is powered by a 2.8-liter V8 engine producing 400 horsepower and 366 lb-ft of torque, and has a top speed of 189 mph. It has five-speed manual transmission is rear-wheel drive. The car's overall design was an evolution of the 308 GTB, with more aggressive styling and aerodynamics to improve performance.

The 288 GTO is considered a classic Ferrari model and is highly sought after by collectors.

"The Ferrari 288 GTO is one of the most iconic and sought after Ferraris of all time. With its striking design and powerful engine, it's not just a car, it's a work of art." - Jerry Seinfeld, Comedian and car collector.
